Our upcoming event: Global Generations
On Friday 20th November, also World Children’s Day, The Global Classroom is holding its fifth session. Themed all around different human generations and how learning from different generations is so important, we can’t wait to welcome you at 16:30 GMT on the 20th November. With speakers including; Captain Sir Tom Moore, Sofia Elian from Smithsonian Science Education Centre and others, we can’t wait to talk about all the things generations live with you.
Past Global Classroom Events
At The Global Classroom we have had great success with our past events. From talking all things health and wellbeing with One Global Body to being joined by some outstanding speakers in our session three, One Global Mind. At The Global Classroom, we can’t wait to come together as one again on Friday 20th November to speak with some incredible spokespeople about the importance of learning from others and from their experiences.
Speakers who are attending Global Generations
We are currently in the process of finalising our speaker’s lists and we can’t wait to announce the full line up of speakers shortly. We are honoured to have the NHS fundraising legend that is Sir Tom Moore joining us at The Global Classroom. Having launched his new book just recently, as a man who is a former British Army Officer we can’t wait to listen to his words of wisdom. Famous for his words ‘Tomorrow will be a good day’ Tom has recently set up the Captain Tom Foundation and continues with his fundraising efforts.
We also have Dr. Megan Collins, Paediatric Ophthalmologist, Michaela Pavlat from Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, Sofia Elian from Smithsonian Science Education Centre, and best selling author, Christopher McDougall confirmed. All speakers will shine light on how they have got to where they are today and what they have been taught from generations above and how their experience will affect generations going forward.
Who should join Global Generations?
At The Global Classroom, our aim is to unite and connect children from all over the world to talk and educate about current issues. As our past events have been awe-inspiring and we have been joined by speakers like the incredible Heather Small, Jason Mraz and Lindsey Stirling, all children who tune into this event are left inspired and enthralled by our speakers’ success and words shared.
If you are a young individual and would be interested in checking out what The Global Classroom is about, why not check out our Youtube Channel and watch clippings of previous events or pop a date in your diary for 20th November to tune in live.
