Following the enormous success of our first Global Classroom on 5th May, our next worldwide live and interactive event was timed to coincide with World Environment Day on 5th June 2020.
Scarisbrick Hall was joined by BMG artist Jason Mraz, World Health Organisation Technical Lead Dr Maria van Kerkhove, Smithsonian Institute Director Dr Mac Farnham, as well as leading environmentalists Melati Wisjen and Andrew Brennen. This event gave schools around the globe the chance to discuss and discover more about issues affecting the earth’s environment.
With contributions from the Smithsonian Institution and support from UNESCO, this exciting online educational link will build on the initiatives that the Global Classroom has already begun.
More events will follow. Please keep in touch and follow our social media channels for more information
